Thomas J. Simons, Director and President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Simons is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the General Partner. Mr. Simons was Vice President and one of the principals of Impact Fluid Systems Inc. since its incorporation in 2001. Impact was one of the two private drilling fluids businesses acquired by the Partnership in March, 2006. Prior to joining Impact, Mr. Simons worked as a Technical Sales Manager for Newpark Canada and Protec Mud Services for five years. Prior to Newpark Canada, Mr. Simons was a technician with MI Drilling Fluids Ltd. Mr. Simons has over 15 years of experience in the Canadian oilfield service industry. Mr. Simons received a Business Administration Diploma from Medicine Hat College in 1989 and attended the University of Lethbridge from 1989 to 1991.
